Pantazi

Pantazi beach stretches along the Messinian Mani, between the villages of Agios Dimitrios and Agios Nikolaos, a few kilometres from the latter. It is a small shore of coarse sand and pebbles, known to locals as Platia Ammos.

The surroundings are green, and a footpath leads to a spring set among the vegetation. Further south, near Agios Dimitrios, lies the islet of Pefnos, which ancient tradition links to the birth of the Dioscuri.

Pantazi is organized, with seasonal umbrellas and sunbeds, cafés and tavernas nearby and parking beside the beach. The road reaches the shore and the water is shallow.
