Wild beauty below Agriosykia
Petali stretches along the eastern coast of central Evia, in the Agriosykia area near Limnionas, facing northeast towards the open Aegean. It is a broad, long beach of wild beauty, laid with coarse sand and small pebbles.
The road to the beach descends from the semi-mountainous village of Agriosykia, following the Kakomaro stream, a route often described as impressive. The area, together with the neighbouring shores of Limnionas and Kotsikia, is a well-known ground for walking routes, and Petali itself is mentioned as one of the island's favourite spots for free camping.
The beach remains free and without full organization, with a cafe-taverna right on the shore and natural shade in places. The exact character of the final stretch of the road is not fully documented.
