The little cove beside Limnionas
Limnionaki sits on the east coast of central Evia, right beside Limnionas of Psachna, near the villages of Agia Sofia and Myloi. Its diminutive name says it all: it is the little sibling of the larger beach, a small cove separated from it by a large rock.
The cove forms a small natural anchorage and shares the same scenery as Limnionas: slopes running down to the sea and a shore turned toward the Aegean. Cold springs are reported to well up in its waters, a detail locals consider characteristic of the place, and a beach bar on the small beach is also mentioned in the summer months.
The shore is pebble and coarse sand, with shade in places, and it is not organized. The road reaches close to the beach, with roadside parking, while cafes, tavernas and the basic services of the surrounding area are a short distance away.
