The little pine-fringed bay

Latoura is a small sandy bay in eastern Sithonia, just outside Ormos Panagias on the route towards Vourvourou. Some guides also refer to it as Dimitraki beach.

Here the vegetation reaches almost to the waterline: pines and shrubs frame the sand and offer natural shade, while a few metres behind the narrow strip of shore the ground turns grassy. Although it sits right by the main road, it keeps the character of a small, simple corner of Sithonia, with little coves hidden along the surrounding coastline.

The beach is unorganized, with no facilities on the sand, so visitors bring their own water and umbrella. The water is shallow, access is a short walk from the main road, and there is parking nearby.
