Pines down to the sand on the Toroneos gulf

Lagomandra lies on the west coast of Sithonia, between Nikiti and Neos Marmaras, looking out over the Toroneos gulf. Its sandy shore stretches for more than a kilometre and is split into two distinct coves by a low rocky cape, with the northern section being the wider and more organized of the two.

What sets Lagomandra apart is the pine forest that comes down almost to the waterline, one of the most characteristic landscapes of western Sithonia, where the green of the pines meets the golden sand. The beach is among the Halkidiki shores awarded a Blue Flag, and a small tourist zone of hotels and tavernas has grown up around it within the pine-clad setting.

It is organized, with sunbeds, umbrellas and a beach bar in the summer season, while the pines also offer natural shade. Access is easy from the main Nikiti-Neos Marmaras road, with a paved road reaching close to the beach and parking nearby, and cafes and tavernas a short distance away.
