Vroulidia: the hidden cove at Chios's southern tip

Vroulidia sits at the southernmost tip of Chios, near Pyrgi, tucked into a small cove beneath tall white cliffs.

The beach is small, only around a hundred metres long, with fine pale sand and pebbles. The gleaming white cliffs that frame it and its position at the very end of the island give it a striking, almost exotic character.

The road reaches the top, above the beach, and from there a short paved path with a few steps leads down to the shore. A seasonal canteen operates up top and there is parking. The beach is unorganised, with sand and pebbles and no natural shade.
