Agia Dynami: the chapel cove of southern Chios

Agia Dynami is a small cove on the south coast of Chios, near the village of Olympoi, also known as Agia Theodosia. It is known for its white sand and its picturesque, secluded setting.

The beach takes its name from the chapel and monastery of Agia Dynami ('Holy Power') that crowns the hill above the bay. A small church stands by the shore, and an old watchtower, one of the lookout towers of Chios, survives in the area.

This is an unorganised beach with fine sand and no facilities on the shore itself. Road access is easy and there is parking nearby, so it is worth bringing whatever you need with you.
