Lemonakia: a pebbled bay beside Kokkari

Lemonakia is a small pebbled bay on the north coast of Samos, just outside the picturesque village of Kokkari. The beach is laid with pebbles and framed by greenery, with water that deepens fairly quickly.

It belongs to the string of little coves west of Kokkari, alongside neighbouring Tsamadou, and ranks among the most photographed corners of the north coast. The vegetation runs almost to the water's edge, giving the cove its character.

Access is by a made-up road and a short walk down, with parking nearby. Cafés and tavernas can be found in the wider area.
