The "goat’s port"
A crescent of fine white sand at the foot of a towering, concave white cliff in southwest Lefkada — one of the most photographed beaches in Greece. The name ("Porto Katsiki", goat’s port) is said to come from the days before the road, when only goats could reach the steep spot.
From the clifftop car park you descend a steep stairway to the sand; it is also reachable by boat. With some seasonal facilities; very popular and crowded at peak.
