The little pebble cove below Evgiros

Afteli is a small pebble cove on the south coast of Lefkada, below the village of Evgiros and between Nidri and Vasiliki. At around twenty metres it is one of the smallest public beaches on the island.

The cove is tucked at the foot of green hillsides and reached by a steep, narrow descent from Evgiros, which keeps it small and out of the way. Its scale is part of its charm, a pocket of shore closed in by the surrounding slopes.

In season it is organized, with a beach bar, a canteen, sunbeds for rent, some shade and parking. The approach is a narrow downhill road from Evgiros.
