White pebbles and caves on western Paliki

Agia Eleni lies on the western coast of the Paliki peninsula in Kefalonia, below the village of Damoulianata, a small beach of white pebbles facing the open Ionian. It takes its name from Saint Helen (Agia Eleni), and is reached by climbing up to Damoulianata and then descending the slope down to the sea.

It is a shore of wild beauty: white pebbles and fine sand, rocks suited for diving, and rock formations that the waves have sculpted along the shoreline. Facing west, it is known for its sunset, which invites visitors to linger into the evening.

The beach is unorganized, with deep water and vegetation that offers a little shade, and there is parking nearby. Access is by a local road from Damoulianata.
