The "Captain Corelli" beach

A white-pebble beach in a bay framed by vividly green, forested hills, just east of Sami.

It was a key location in the film "Captain Corelli’s Mandolin" (2001), where the Italian soldiers’ camp was built. The set is gone, the view remains. Organised, with sunbeds and bars.
