Bouka beach, also known as Melikia, lies in southern Corfu at Lefkimmi, where the canal-river of Lefkimmi meets the sea. The word 'bouka' itself means the mouth, the opening of the river to the open sea, a term of Italian-Venetian origin.

The sandy strand runs south from the river's mouth for about 1.4 km, with a sandy seabed and a gentle slope. Behind it spreads dense, tall vegetation, and the surrounding coast remains largely undeveloped and natural. Lefkimmi, the island's second-largest town, is known for its navigable canal, which ends here at Bouka.

The northern part, near the mouth, is organized, with sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, toilets, a taverna and water sports. Access is by car from Lefkimmi, with free parking near the beach.
