The hidden cove of white pebbles near Liapades

Rovinia is a hidden cove on the west coast of Corfu, near the village of Liapades and just south of Paleokastritsa. It stands out for its white pebbles and fine sand, set within a landscape of steep, deep-green cliffs.

The cove is framed by rocky headlands and olive groves that run almost down to the water, while just over the headland lies the world of Paleokastritsa with its monastery and sea caves. Liapades keeps a simpler, more village-like character than the neighbouring resorts.

It is an unorganized beach, without sunbeds or facilities, with natural shade from the vegetation. Access is by vehicle to a nearby private car park and then on foot, about 200 to 300 metres to the shore, and it can also be reached from the sea by boat.
