The west coast beneath the Ortholithi

Agios Gordios beach lies in west-central Corfu, below the village of Sinarades, a long sandy shore at the foot of steep crags.

At the southern end of the bay, below the village of Pentati, the Ortholithi rises out of the sea, an imposing monolith that has become a symbol of this coast. Its name means 'upright stone'. Higher up, Sinarades is the main village of the area, with a long history and a well-known winemaking tradition.

It is an organized beach of fine and coarse sand with shallow waters, beach bars, tavernas, sunbeds, umbrellas and parking, with an open western exposure. Access is by a paved road.
