The pebble cove at the edge of Erimitis

Avlaki lies on the northeast coast of Corfu, about two kilometres east of Kassiopi, at the edge of the Erimitis area. It is a pebbly cove set in a small bay ringed by green hills.

Its name, 'Avlaki,' refers to a furrow or channel, the kind of small ravine that runs down toward the sea. The Erimitis area that spreads behind and around the cove is one of the last relatively undeveloped stretches of the northeast coast, with low scrub, olive trees and a wild, green character.

Access has not been verified on the ground, and the beach is recorded as unorganized. It is reported to be reached by car or by boat.
