The shore of tamarisk trees

Fellos is a large beach north of Gavrio, on the west coast of Andros, with sand and fine pebble. It stays quieter than the fully organized beaches of the area and keeps a more natural character.

Its signature feature is the tamarisk trees that reach close to the water and offer natural shade, a familiar element of many Andros shores. Its position just outside Gavrio harbour makes it easily reachable without losing its low-key atmosphere.

It is not fully organized. There is a tavern nearby and parking close by, while the natural shade of the tamarisks helps those who stay for hours. The water is shallow and access is by a surfaced road.
