The turtle-shaped islet of the bay

An uninhabited islet in the Bay of Laganas that, seen from above, resembles a turtle — hence "Turtle Island". It is an important nesting site within the Marine Park.

It has two beaches: a sandy one (a nesting area, largely cordoned off) and a pebbly one, better for swimming. Reach it only by boat (~15 min) from Keri or Laganas, often combined with a turtle-watching trip.
