The longest beach and its wetland

Its name means "clam lake". The lake behind it is the largest natural wetland in the Cyclades, part of the Natura 2000 network and a stop for migratory birds — flamingos have even been recorded passing through.

It is home to the island's only organised campsite. The beach is partly organised, with quieter stretches further along.
