The hidden pine cove just before Haramida

Niseli is a small beach just before Haramida, on the southeastern side of Lesvos, near Mytilini. It is also known as 'Karpouzi', after the cantina of the same name that operates at its edge.

This little cove sits tucked among pine trees that reach almost to the water's edge, and belongs to the wider Haramida area, near the entrance of the Gulf of Gera. Its sand is finer than that of neighbouring Haramida, with pebbles in the shallows.

It is an organized beach, with umbrellas and sunbeds, a canteen, showers and changing rooms. Access is by a paved road in good condition.
