A windsurf bay near Linaria

A long sand-and-pebble beach with clear water, ~9 km from town near Linaria port, with easy road access. The name comes from "kalami" (reed).

It is a recognised windsurf/kitesurf bay: the Meltemi, reinforced by a local wind funnel, builds from late morning into the afternoon — great for the sports, but choppy for swimmers when it blows. Partly organized (umbrellas, cafés, tavernas).
