The town’s nearest cove, with a cliff walk
Coarse pebbles in the middle, rocky/cemented edges with metal ladders and a sandy seabed — small (~200 m) but the closest beach to town, a 10-minute walk below Akronafplia. Organized in summer (cafés, showers, changing rooms).
Its distinctive feature: the "Gyros tis Arvanitias", a ~1 km cliff promenade from the harbour lighthouse around Akronafplia — one of the most romantic walks. The name has a real history (an "Arvanites" quarter shown on a 16th-c. Venetian map).
