Cool spring-fed water, with an underwater cave
A wide sandy strip with shallow water (some sandy-rocky bottom in places), one of Maroneia’s liveliest beaches. The name "Kryoneri" (cold water) comes from freshwater springs that well up into the sea and keep the water cool.
Organized and walkable (sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, a lifeguard), within the settlement, beside tavernas. Offshore there is an underwater cave that draws divers.
