Fine sand with dunes near the city

Part of the Epanomi coast — a large beach of fine sand with clean, shallow water, family-friendly; a Blue Flag beach. It is the closest "wild-feeling" sandy stretch to Thessaloniki.

Backed by natural sand dunes and vegetation that give it an "exotic" look; the neighbouring Potamos wetland is a protected birdwatching area.
