The cedar forest among the dunes

An area of white sand and wind-shaped dunes on the southwest coast, famous for its "cedar forest" — botanically a juniper grove (Juniperus macrocarpa), one of the largest in Greece and a protected Natura 2000 habitat.

It is quieter and mostly undeveloped; nearby is the Rina sea cave, reachable only from the water.
