A small cove with fossils

A very small cove of fine golden and coarse sand, with pebbles and rocks in the water (entry needs care). It is rimmed by sandstone walls embedded with small fossilized shells — remnants of when the area lay underwater — plus small caves. Relatively shallow.

Largely undeveloped and on the open south coast, so usually windy. Access by dirt road, west of the airport.
