The sunset beach

A long beach of soft golden sand with rocks near the shore (good for snorkelling). It is named after Sifnos on the horizon, and is the island’s best sunset spot.

Semi-organized (a playground, benches, tavernas nearby). ~500 m / a 10-minute walk on a cobbled path from the square, or by car. Exposed to N/W winds — also used for windsurf.
