Fine sand a step from Chora

First Psaralyki stretches just south of Antiparos Chora, a ten-minute walk from the harbour. It is the larger of the two consecutive sandy beaches that share the name, with fine golden sand.

Behind the shore, tamarisk trees offer natural shade, a classic feature of Cycladic beaches. The place name is linked to the island's fishing tradition, since the 'psar-' root points to fishing, though its exact origin remains uncertain.

It is an organized beach with seasonal umbrellas and sunbeds, a beach bar and café, showers and WC, with parking nearby. Access is easy along a paved road, which keeps it close to visitors staying in Chora.
