A rich golden beach ~2 km long with shallow water, at the foot of Mt Kissavos near the Pineios river mouth (beyond the Tempi gorge). Its old name was Tsagezi; ancient Eurymenae stood here.

One of the more developed beaches in the area — hotels, a beach bar, tavernas, a seasonal campsite. Paved access (~46 km from Larissa). An open Aegean coast, good for windsurf — so it catches notable wind.
