An organized beach with a prehistoric islet

The area has three beaches — two sandy and one rocky. The main one is large, organized, with shallow water, split into two sections by natural boulders, with a built-up seafront plaza; family-friendly.

Easy road access off the old Athens–Lamia national road. Its distinctive feature: the tidal islet of Mitros at the west end — joined to shore when the water recedes — is an archaeological site with Mycenaean finds.
