A lagoon beach on Koronisia

One of the beaches of Koronisia, inside the Ambracian Gulf: warm, very shallow water with a gentle slope, and a seasonal beach bar. The gulf is broadly shallow and enclosed.

Its distinctive feature: Koronisia connects to the mainland via a ~20 km road over a thin alluvial strip between two lagoons. It is a tiny fishing village inside the Amvrakikos Wetlands National Park — a major bird sanctuary.
