One of the longest beaches in Greece
Fine golden sand ~9 km long and ~80 m wide — one of the longest sandy beaches in Greece — with shallow, warm Ionian water, family-friendly. Backed by the Strofylia pine forest (~2,200 ha), the largest in Greece, inside the Kotychi–Strofylia Wetlands National Park.
Its distinctive feature: dunes up to 10 m high — the largest sand dune in the Peloponnese, shaped by Ionian westerlies. Partly organized, with long wild stretches; ~45 km southwest of Patras.
